Turn your Smartphone into a universal Wi-Fi remote control for your PC.
Keyboard, Mouse or Live-Screen, with Droid Remote you can easily remote control your PC via Wi-Fi. All you need, beside the android app, is the server software, which you can easily download from the Download section on this page.

If you have already installed the DroidRemote application and server but you are not able to establish a connection maybe one of the introductions below will help.
The most common reason for connection problems is the Firewall. This tool
sometimes blocks the DroidServer and prevents a connection with the DroidRemote app. So you
have to make an exception for the DroidServer in the firewall.
Furthermore be sure that port
8888 and 8889 are open and not blocked.
It is important that your smartphone and your PC, where you have installed
DroidServer, are connected with the same network (WiFi). If not, you are not able to establish
a connection.
Hint: The connection won't work with your mobile data network.
Sometimes your Anti-Virus software (Antivir, Kaspersky, Norton etc.) would
block the network capabilities of DroidServer. You could try to make an exception for DroidServer
in your Anti-Virus Software.
If it doesn't work, please contact the support of your specific
Ant-Virus program.

Hint: Sometimes simply restart the DroidServer and the DroidRemote app will solve
your problems.
Below you can download the DroidRemote server and the android application. The server is currently
available only for Windows devices. The Server were tested on Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8 and
Windows 8.1.
Windows 10 is currently not supported. The app will be updated at the end of 2017. Currently
I have no time for maintenance.
You can download DroidServer for your Windows PC from this website. The server is currently available only for Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 8.1. Windows 10 is not yet supported.
For the DroidRemote client application please visit the the Google Play store or use one of the download links below. Please note that the functionality is limited in the free version.
